When a faucet or sink starts leaking in your home, you need an experienced and skilled plumber to fix it. Even though a sink or a faucet leak sounds like a small thing, it can turn into a big thing if it’s not taken care of correctly! Jumping in to repair it yourself can actually end up costing you more money and time, and often does. Let the professionals at PLMBRS.com take care of it for you!

It may be hard to determine which local plumber you can trust with your home, so let us help. All of our plumbers are licensed, insured, and bonded, and highly skilled, professional, and reliable. You can trust them!

Another concern many homeowners face is the worry that a home service person is going to come in & mess things up, leaving your home greasy & dirty. Plumbing can definitely be a messy business, but that’s no excuse for poor service. Our technicians are expertly trained, not only in plumbing practices, but in customer care as well; which includes expert cleanup after a job is finished!

Our reputation of leaving your home better than we found it precedes us, and you can count on it! We will always spend however much time we need to spend explaining not only the problem, but also the different choices of solutions. We’ll then follow that up with our expert recommendations, execution of the job, then complete cleanup – usually leaving the place better than it was before you even had the problem.

We never charge for a visit only, and we never charge for overtime. We are always available – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We also have a goal of fixing your existing situation without having to replace appliances, if at all possible.

Frequently asked questions

Can a faucet cartridge be repaired?

If your faucet has 2 handles that each turn ninety degrees, you either have a cartridge or a compression faucet. A cartridge faucet leak is usually because the cartridge is worn out or the rubber O-ring is worn out. You can easily find repair kits that will allow you to fix both the cartridges and the O-rings. But if just talking about O-rings and cartridges and the like makes you nervous, just call us! It’s a piece of cake for a pro.

How long should a kitchen faucet last?

Most should last from 15 to 20 years, but that can vary depending on make & manufacturer. If you find your faucet is needing repaired from leaking more often, that’s a sign that it might be time to go ahead and replace it. Typically a new kitchen faucet from a plumbing supply house will be higher quality and last longer than one from a box store, even if it’s the same brand.

Is it easy to replace a faucet?

It might actually be easier than you think. A beginner with a decent aptitude for mechanical things (and maybe access to YouTube) can usually do it in about an hour, with an adjustable wrench and a few other tools that we find in most households. However, if you usually find yourself spending and inordinate amount of time trying to fix small things around the house, you might want to call an expert to replace your faucet. You might think about what other small issues he could work on while he’s there in order to be more efficient with your repair budget.
